asked the President of the Board of Trade the number of American manufactured motor cars and chassis imported into this country during the months of April, May and June, respectively, of this year and during the same months, respectively, of last year?

Dr. BURGIN

The following table shows the number of motor cars and chassis imported into the United Kingdom and registered during April, May and June, 1933 and 1934, as consigned from the United States and Canada, respectively. It is not possible to state how many of these cars were of United States manufacture.

in receipt of pensions as warrant and non-commissioned officers, which has been placed on the Order Paper by the hon. and gallant Member for South-East Leeds (Major Milner) and other hon. Members: That the case of those ex-ranker officers of the Army who are at present in receipt of pensions as warrant and non-commissioned officers be further considered with a view to removing certain disabilities resulting from the terms of their engagement during the Great War as commissioned officers.

In view of the state of Parliamentary business, I regret that I cannot hold out any hope of special facilities being given for the discussion of this subject. This question has been fully considered and debated on more than one occasion, and I see no ground for re-opening it.
