HC Deb 19 July 1934 vol 292 cc1282-3W
Mr. T. MORRIS

asked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been called to the effect of the drought on the stability of projecting, copings and other sections of dwelling and business houses; and whether he will suggest to local authorities the desirability of issuing a general warning to property owners on the subject.

Sir H. YOUNG

My attention has not been called to this matter, nor am I aware that special trouble has arisen. I do not think that the measure suggested is needed since local authorities already have power to take action if any building or wall is dangerous to passers-by or to the occupants.
