asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what are the combined effective rates of Income Tax and Super-tax on incomes of £3,000, £5,000 and £10,000 a year?

The hon. Member will find this information in the following table, which gives the effective rates of Income Tax (including Surtax) for certain incomes according to the nature of the income and the family responsibilities of the taxpayer.
