GILM0URThe Factory Department have made some preliminary in- 785W quiries which show that the accident occurred in connection with the demolition of a building, and that the operations were outside the purview of the Factory Acts. The circumstances will, no doubt, be investigated at the inquise which, I understand, has been adjourned until the 23rd instant.
