§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREThe total revenue in the financial year 1933–4 from admission fees and sales of guidebooks and postcards amounted to £18,706. Expenditure on the maintenance of the building, caretaking, supplies of gas, electricity and water, etc., amounted to £23,540. There was, therefore, no surplus.
