MORRISasked the Minister of Labour whether he can now state the composition of the Unemployment Assistance Board and at the same time indicate, in view of the approach of the holidays, what publicity will be given to the requirements of the board in respect 1566W of staff, so that those interested may not miss the announcements made?
Mr. HUDSONThe membership of the Unemployment Assistance Board was announced by the Prime Minister on 29th June in reply to a question by the hon. Member for Chester-le-Street (Mr. Lawson). The appointment of staff is a matter for the board itself, but I have no doubt that steps will be taken to ensure that the board's requirements in respect of staff are brought effectively to the notice of all concerned at the earliest possible date.
