asked the Minister of Health what was the population of the four districts of Stepney: Limehouse, St. George-in-the-East, Mile End Old Town, and Whitechapel, in 1931?

If it is rightly understood that the hon. Member refers to the four registration sub-districts, bearing the names stated, into which the Stepney registration district and metropolitan borough is at present divided for birth and death registration purposes, the particulars asked for are as follow:
