HC Deb 23 February 1934 vol 286 c645W
Lieut.-Colonel MASON

asked the Minister of Transport if he followed the recommendations of his inspector in making an order as to his decision on the appeal of Motor Coaches, Limited, after the inquiry of 29th May and 1st June, 1933; and, if he did not, if he will give his reasons for coming to conclusions dissimilar to the recommendations of his inspector?

Mr. STANLEY

As I informed my hon. and gallant Friend on 15th February, I am not prepared to publish the reports on appeal inquiries held prior to 1st October, 1933. In these circumstances, I do not think it would be right for me to disclose in a particular case whether the decision followed the recommendation contained in the report.
