§ Mr. LOGANasked the Attorney-General whether there is to be an appeal in the Harman case; and, if not, can be now consider setting the law in motion against those members of the London Stock Exchange who were involved in the Chosen-Harman-Rock Agreement of June, 1929?
The SOLICITOR-GENERALFormal application has been made to my right hon. and learned Friend for his certificate under Section 1 (6) of the Criminal Appeal Act, 1907, to enable an appeal to be made to the House of Lords. He is, however, still awaiting a statement of the grounds on which the application is based to enable him to come to a decision. In the circumstances, the second part of the question does not arise.
