§ Sir W. EDGESketch plans for the new Peoples Palace were submitted to the Commissioners in October last. In November, however, it was found to be necessary for the Governors to modify these plans in view of the necessity for economy and for other reasons. The Commissioners understand that the revised plans will be submitted for their approval in January next.
