§ Mr. COOPERPermission to reprint Section 1 of the Report of the Joint Select Committee on Indian Constitutional Reform was given to the Conservative Central Office by the Controller of the Stationery Office, in whom Crown copyright is vested, on the terms that the source from which the reproduction was taken would be duly acknowledged and the fact that the, Controller's permission had been obtained would be stated on the reprint. The action taken in this case, as in that of the application from the Labour party for permission to reprint an extract from the Proceedings of the Committee, was in accordance with the principles laid down in a Treasury Minute of 28th June, 1912, of which I am sending the hon. Member a copy.
