HC Deb 17 November 1933 vol 281 cc1186-7W
Mr. MARTIN

asked the Minister of Labour whether he has any information as to the proposal to erect & monument to the memory of M. Albert Thomas, the late director of the International Labour Office in Geneva; and whether His Majesty's Government propose to make any contribution?

Sir H. BETTERTON

I understand that a monument to M. Albert Thomas is to be erected in Geneva and that various Governments and organisations have promised substantial contributions. His Majesty's Government propose to inform the Director of the International Labour Office that they will subscribe £200.
