§ Sir J. SIMONIn reply to a request for anex gratia payment to Mrs. Tebbitt, the German Government have stated that the circumstances of the case do not appear to justify such a payment out of German public funds. In view of the position in international law, there is, I regret to say, no further action which can usefully be taken on behalf of Mrs. Tebbitt, and the claimant has been informed accordingly.
