Mr. Silvesterasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will list for each year since 1978–79 to the latest date available and for each polytechnic (a) the number of students (full-time equivalents), (b) the cost per student, (c) the number of students as a percentage of applications, (d) the number of teaching staff,(e) the number of non-teaching staff and (f) the proportion of students enrolled in advanced further education courses.
