Captain RAMSAYasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that imports of Russian timber continue to injure the interests of timber-growers in Scotland; and whether, in view of the action of the Canadian Government in invoking Article 21 of the Ottawa Agreement, he will take steps to ensure that Scottish timber-growers shall receive no less protection in this respect than Canadian growers?
