§ Sir H. BETTERTONIt is estimated that, at the beginning of July, 1933, there were 12,620,000 persons insured under the Unemployment Insurance Acts in Great Britain. The estimated number of insured persons in employment at the end of June, 1933, was 9,744,000 compared with 9,331,000 at the end of June, 1932.
