HC Deb 29 May 1933 vol 278 c1548W
Captain P. MACDONALD

asked the Secretary of State for India whether he is satisfied that all necessary arrangements with regard to landing grounds and meteorological services have been made by the Government of India to enable the air route from London to Singapore, and ultimately to Australia, to be initiated in accordance with the scheduled dates?

Sir S. HOARE

There is no reason to anticipate delay. The arrangements are already complete in respect of the extension from Karachi to Calcutta.
