asked the Secretary of State for India if he has any information as to what States in India cultivate poppies for the manufacture of opium; and what revenue, if any, is derived from that source?

asked the Secretary of State for India whether, in view of the fact that the Government of Assam is pledged gradually to eradicate the use of opium in the ProvInce, she revenue from that source has shown any progressive decrease during the last few years?
