HC Deb 24 May 1933 vol 278 c1099W
Sir J. WARDLAW-MILNE

asked the Minister of Pensions whether he will reconsider the case of Mr. John Clews, of 362, Lickey Road, Rednal, No. ll/M/447,654, and give instructions that the necessary facilities should be arranged to enable this man to be X-rayed for the purpose of deciding whether or not his present condition is due to the gunshot wound he received during the War?

Major TRYON

This case has already been exhaustively considered on several occasions, along with all the available evidence. I am advised that an X-ray examination at the present time would not assist in determining the origin of the disease from which Mr. Clews is unfortunately suffering, but which, on all the evidence in the possession of my Department, cannot be associated with the wound sustained by him in 1917.
