asked the hen. Member for Central Leeds, as representing the Ecclesiastical Commissioners the amount that was paid to the Commissioners in the County of Durham for royalties on coal, lead, and other minerals, ground rents, and tithes for the last financial year of the Commissioners?

The latest figures available are those for the rental year to 31st March, 1932, carried into the accounts for the financial year ended on 31st October last. The gross amounts received by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners from estates in the county of Durham from each of the sources in dicated were for that year as follow:
