HC Deb 07 March 1933 vol 275 c1006W
Sir J. LAMB

asked the Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department what rates of bounty, subsidy, or subvention of any description, direct or indirect, are now in force in foreign countries and British Dominions in respect to exports of agricultural produce and manufactured articles, including food products?

Lieut.-Colonel COLVILLE:

The work that would be entailed by an inquiry of this magnitude and the detailed character of the information sought, make it impossible for me to furnish a reply to the question asked. If my hon. Friend could indicate particular commodities and countries in which he is interested, I would gladly consider the matter.
