asked the Secretary for Mines the total number of horses and ponies employed in the mines in Scotland, Durham, Northumberland, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Nottinghamshire, North Staffordshire, Derbyshire, and in the Swansea and Cardiff and North Wales divisions, respectively, at the end of 1932; the total tonnage of coal raised in each of these coalfields; and the number of ponies employed below ground per 1,000,000 tons of coal raised in each of these areas?
