Existing officers' cooks will complete their service as such under previous regulations until the rating dies out. Newly entered naval cooks will be trained to382W undertake the duties of cooks in both officers' and ratings' galleys. The answer to the first part of the question is, therefore, in the negative, and the second part, therefore, does not arise. The answer to the third part of the question is in the affirmative.
