§ Sir H. BETTERTONMembers of panels are not normally summoned more frequently than once a month. Those who fail seriously in their attendance are asked whether they wish to retain their membership of the panel. If they reply in the negative, their names are removed from the panel. If, although they reply affirmatively, there is no improvement in attendance further steps are taken, if necessary in consultation with the local employment committee.
