§ Mr. EDENThe amount falling on His Majesty's Government in respect of the Monetary and Economic Conference depends upon the excess cost of holding the Conference in London over what would have been the cost of holding it in Geneva. This amount cannot be determined until the accounts are made up. As regards the second part of the question, His Majesty's Government do not pay the emoluments of the League officials, which are borne on the League's budget.
