Mr. WhitneyWe continue to take opportunities to make the Turkish authorities aware of our concern over alleged violations of human rights. The Turkish authorities maintain that they are making genuine efforts to investigate allegations and, where these allegations are proven, to punish the culprits. We shall continue to watch developments closely.
