Mr. JoplingAs I said in the House on 30 June—[Vol. 44, c. 692]—I intend to introduce legislation to implement the package of proposals put forward jointly by the presidents of the National Farmers Union and the Country Landowners Association. I have received a number of representations from individuals and organisations regarding the measures needed. The package has the broad based support of the industry and I see it as the best available solution to the problems of the tenanted sector in England and Wales.
