asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he has any plans to discuss the situation in El Salvador with his United States counterpart.

My right hon. and learned Friend has not yet met representatives of the Government of E1 Salvador, but the ambassador of E1 Salvador called upon my right hon. Friend the Minister for Overseas Development on 6 July.
