§ Mr. EDENThe Liberian Government have passed the necessary laws for the abolition of slavery. If, as I hope, the League of Nations Plan of Assistance is accepted by the parties concerned, it will be for the foreign officials appointed under the plan to see that these laws are effectively enforced.
