asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (1) whether, in view of the situation in Jehol, he has given orders for the evacuation of all British subjects from that province;

(2) Whether, in view of the imminence of a Japanese invasion of North China, he has considered the advisability of ordering the withdrawal of all British subjects from outlying districts within the province of Chihli and their concentration
