Sir H. YOUNGThe records of my Department do not enable me to give my hon. Friend any such estimate beyond that of the value of the schemes for which I have refused to sanction loans since 1st February, 1932. In the 12 months from that date the estimated cost of works for which I have refused to sanction loans amounts to about £2,500,000.
