§ Lieut.-Colonel COLVILLEI have been asked to reply. The cost of the Commission, during the 12 months ended 31st January, 1933, was £17,618. With regard to the second part of the question, the hon. and gallant Member will be aware that the task with which the Commission has been charged by Parliament is an extremely complex one, and there is, as yet, no objective test by which it is possible to measure the value of the Commission's work.
