EYRES MONSELLLeave has been given to the divers and others engaged on salvage work on "M 2" whenever the weather conditions have interfered with the work and the question of special leave will be considered at the conclusion of the operation. Divers are 151W paid extra pay while diving at rates between 4s. and 8s. an hour.

Sir B. EYRES MONSELLWork is proceeding as weather permits, and it is hoped if the weather is suitable to make another attempt to raise the vessel in November. The cables used were of sufficient strength; the wires used carried away due to chafe caused by bad weather.
