§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAThe amounts in question are: for the internal National Debt, £271,812,796; for Local Government Loans, £59,350,000; and for building society mortgages, £19,846,749. In the case of local government loans the figure is for the interest paid during the financial year ending 31st March, 1931, being the latest period for which figures are available.
