§ Sir H. BETTERTONAny deficiency of the Unemployment Fund on insurance account is now met by a grant from the Exchequer. For the current financial year to 18th June, 1932, the deficiency grant payable by the Exchequer is approximately £980,000, or between £80,000 and £90,000 per week.
