§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAI understand that inquiries are being instituted by the Scottish National Development Council into the position of the chief industries of Scotland with special reference to the question of industrial development, and, in the circumstances, there does not appear to be any need for the appointment of a special committee as suggested by the hon. Member.
