asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Education what was the amount spent by the Exchequer and local authorities, respectively, on elementary and secondary education for the years 1913, 1914, 1923, and 1924, and the latest available year, the amount of teachers' salaries at each period, together with the number of children in average attendance?
