asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that 78 foreign firms have started manufacturing in this country since we went off the Gold Standard; and will he state the classes of trades affected?

As I stated yesterday in my reply to the hon. Member for Colchester (Mr. Lewis), the Board of Trade have information of 144 new undertakings established since last November. I gave the latest particulars of the classes of trades affected in reply to a question by the hon. Member for Swansea, West (Mr. L. Jones) on 2nd June.
