§ Mr. G. MACDONALDasked the Minister of Health the names of the clerk to the council and the county council in all cases where the salary and emoluments exceed £3,000, and set out details of emoluments and money accruing there from?
Sir H, YOUNGThe only salaries of clerks to county councils which require my approval are those of clerks appointed after the passing of the Local Government (Clerks) Act, 1931. Only three such appointments have yet been made, and in no case does the salary, inclusive of emoluments, exceed £3,000.
