Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer, a table is appended showing the latest available figures of the balances of credits and debits in the transactions between the United Kingdom and all other countries for the year 1931 and the two preceding years. Explanations of the various items in this table will be found in the Board of Trade Journal to be issued to-morrow.

The Treaty of Peace with Turkey made provision for the termination of the jurisdiction exercised by His Majesty the King in Turkey. The Ottoman Order in Council, 1924, repealed the Ottoman Order in Council, 1910, and the Turkey Order in Council, 1922, except as to Egypt and with certain saving provisions.
