Mr. EDEN

The information asked for will be found in the table appended. Every endeavour has been made to ensure accuracy, and it will be found that there are some slight variations in the 1930 figures from the answers previously given. The number of non-British foreign officials has not increased since 1929, and I am aware of no case since that year in which a British official has been replaced by a foreigner. The staff of the Egyptian University and the teaching staff of the Ministry of Education are not included in the figures now given.
