§ Mr. PYBUSRegulations prohibiting taximeter cabs from loitering are already in force in certain congested streets in the central area of London. A proposal382W to extend these regulations to other streets in London led to protests from the taxi-cab trade. I am anxious to give every consideration to the views of taxi-cab owners and drivers, and have asked the London Traffic Advisory Committee to review their recommendations in the light of these representations.
