asked the Minister of Labour (1) the number of unemployed persons in the building trades in London for the latest date available;

(2) the number of insured persons classified as belonging to the building industry recorded as unemployed in Great Britain at the last convenient date?

On 21st March, 1932, the total number of insured persons in the building industry classification recorded as unemployed in Great Britain was 241,706, and in the London Division, 56,643.
