HC Deb 24 September 1931 vol 256 c1827W
Dr. PHILLIPS

asked the Postmaster-General if he has had any objections to the rearrangement of the Saturday deliveries of the post in Sunderland; and whether he is aware that the arrangement has met with the approval of the borough council as well as the postmen, who are now able to have a free Saturday afternoon, and that there is a general desire tht the arrangement be continued?

Mr. ORMSBY-GORE

I have received objections to the rearrangement referred to, and I am making inquiry on the subject. I will write to the hon. Member as soon as the inquiry is completed.
