HC Deb 22 September 1931 vol 256 cc1485-6W
Mr. D. G. SOMERVILLE

asked the Secretary for Mines whether he is aware that many coal dealers are finding difficulty in supplying the coal the public want; and whether, in the interests of trade, he will take action to remove the existing difficulty of supply?

Mr. FOOT

Although isolated cases of temporary shortage of particular classes of coal have been brought to my notice, my information is that coal dealers generally are finding no difficulty in meeting their customers' demands.
