asked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that men are being asked to accept employment; as surface workers at mines in West Lothian at. 5s. 8½d. a. shift; that many of these men must travel over five miles to the place of employment; and, in the event of their refusal to accept, what action his Department proposes to take in such cases?
