§ Mr. WELLOCKasked the hon. and gallant Member for Rye, as representing the Forestry Commissioners, the number of acres it is proposed to afforest during the current year; and whether the modified programme will involve a reduction in the number of afforestation workers of all kinds and, if so, how many?
§ Sir G. COURTHOPEThe number of acres it is proposed to afforest next season is not yet definitely fixed, but it will not be less than 20,000.
