  2. (b) In addition, 8 cruisers are authorised, but no money is voted for them. Under the London Treaty, 3 of these 8 may be laid down in 1933, 1934 and 1935 respectively, but the United States is precluded from laying down the remaining 5 until 1937 under the terms of the London Naval Treaty.
  3. (c) Excludes programme consisting of—
  4. 1 aircraft carrier,
  5. 1–10,000 ton flying deck cruiser (6 in. gun),
  6. 1–6 in. gun cruiser,
  7. and 4 submarines
  8. presented to Congress, but not yet voted.

  10. (e) Projected up to 1936–37; includes 3 exempt class vessels.
  11. (f) Italy has not yet brought forward her 1931 programme.

  18. tabled in Parliament, but not yet approved.
