HC Deb 24 November 1931 vol 260 c244W
Mr. HERBERT

asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether he will include on the agenda for the forthcoming Imperial Economic Conference any proposals for the unification and simplification of trade statistics throughout the Empire?

Mr. THOMAS

The Imperial Conference, of 1930 recommended that a Conference of the statistical officers of the various parts of the British Commonwealth should be held at Ottawa, and when it assembles, I hope that the subjects mentioned by the hon. Member will come under consideration.
