SMITHasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he proposes, before the House rises for Christmas, to make a statement on the outlook affecting the extra anticipated revenue resulting from the proposals of the September Budget; and whether opportunities will be offered for discussion thereon?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI do not anticipate any necessity for such an announcement or discussion in advance of next year's Budget statement.
